The Story of Classic Las Vegas.

I was going over some of the original music written for the Project and some other great songs written about Sin City.  I googled to see if there were any documentaries about old Vegas and I came across this interesting little film at "The Story of Classic Vegas".  Beautiful scenery of Las vegas from the start. I love the quote right at the end "There were a lot of people who had vision and foresight who took a lot of risks and came here and made it happen".  I truly believe I have a great concept and vision for a great show that would rock Las vegas , that celebrates it's influences in music/photography and film. Time to make it happen.

Hi Paul, hey it's good to see you blogging again for the Lost Vegas
project. I've been checking the website and blog every once in a while and was hoping you weren't getting too busy to go to the next level with it.

All the songs that have been added since my 'Las Vegas Blues' sound great, you are really
hooked up with a bunch of talented artists. The production quality is also good, much
superior to my track. You might remember I recorded it in my apartment in NY on a 4-track
analog machine and played all the instruments, with my wife doing the vocal. A 'true'
garageband production without the garage.

Well things have changed a bit since I moved to California, especially the last 3 years. I
have been jamming with a group of friends, two of whom are also in local Ventura
County bands. It's fun and a good excuse to get together for a few beers and some music. We've
made 'Las Vegas Blues' part of our set list and they are 'all in' for wanting to re-record it
with me (I've always thought some honky-tonk piano would be a nice addition to the track). I've
moved up to a digital 8-track system with studio quality and effects; if you're still planning
to include the track in this collection I may be able to give you a better copy soon.

Well I do wish you nothing but success with however you choose to bring it forward, and I'll definitely be watching for your updates right here. Cheers !
